The Sittig Foundation Scholarship of $1,000 is intended for those who demonstrate the desire to work in public or human services. The top criteria we are looking for are:

  1. Students who have already shown the initiative to help others through volunteer or community service hours served, and

  2. Students who plan to attend a two or four year college or university to pursue a degree or certificate in a field of study in public or human service

The requirements to be considered for this scholarship are:

  1. A complete application with at least 3 references

  2. A minimum of 2 letters of recommendation, and

  3. A minimum of 2.5 GPA

Note: Along with the application questions, on a separate sheet please provide your typed essay answering the question below:

In no more than 2 pages explain why public and human services necessary, and how do you plan on making a difference in your community by serving others?
